Acting on a tip off, a joint operation was launched by troops of 30 Rashtriya Rifles, 46 Rashtriya Rifles and 161 Territorial Army at Drangbal in Baramulla district and a militant, Riyaz Ahmed Hajam, arrested, a defence spokesman said in Srinagar.
He said one 9 mm pistol, one radio set, one combat dress, rubbers stamps, SIM card and other documents were recovered from his possession.
The militant and recoveries were handed over to the police for further interrogation, he said.
