Kashmir University signs MoU with the BBC

The University of Kashmir and BBC have signed an MoU to launch a two-year project for promoting social affairs reporting in Kashmir.

Srinagar, April 17:  The University of Kashmir and the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) World Service Trust on Thursday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to launch a two-year project for promoting social affairs reporting in Kashmir.

Giving this information in Srinagar the spokesman of the university Shoukat Shafi said that the BBC World Service Trust would construct a radio studio at Educational Multimedia Research Centre (EMMRC), equipped with latest recording and post production gadgets which will be used for radio programming during the project.

The news has brought joy to many students presently studying at the Media Education Research Centre (MERC) who feel the move will brighten their career prospects, he said.
